Google introduces Playground, an experimental platform for custom games

Google said it is introducing Playground, an experimental gaming platform that lets users create, play and share custom games, with game ideas described through prompts rather than code. The company said the tool is meant to lower the barriers to making games and does not require coding experience.

Google said users can keep a game private, share it by link or publish it to an Explore gallery for other Playground users. The company also said some games support leaderboards and multiplayer in selected genres, and that published games go through safety screenings and user reporting.
