Google Cloud adds OpenAI models to its model garden

Google Cloud is putting OpenAI models inside its own model garden, a direct platform move that affects how enterprise customers buy and use models.
Google Cloud said it is adding OpenAI models to its model garden and framing the move as an expansion of its enterprise AI platform. The company said the models are rolling out now in private preview to select enterprise customers, with availability through APIs starting today and later access planned for Gemini for business and Google Antigravity.
The company said customers will be able to choose among models and infrastructure based on cost, capability and performance. It also said OpenAI models bought through Google Cloud Marketplace will appear on a single invoice and count toward existing cloud commitments and Flexible Savings Plans.
Google Cloud said the addition makes it the only hyperscale cloud provider offering access to all three leading closed-source large language models, alongside more than 200 first-party, third-party and open models on its enterprise AI platform.
